One to One guidance interviews
Cost £40.00 per hour
A 1 hour interview which will help you decide what career you may be suitable. It will involve questions about your skills, abilities, interests and personality. These will help us to look in more depth about your future career ideas and how to put these into reality. It will also focus on how to make well informed realistic career decisions. You will take away an action plan, careers information and any contacts required.
Follow on advice and guidance
Cost £20.00 per hour
This interview may help you to follow up career ideas or actions you have already decided upon. It will provide you with further help and look at any challenges you have to taking action. A follow on action plan will be given with careers information and contacts.
Application advice for further study or work
Cost £25.00 per hour
This is a focused session looking at a specific application you may have to complete. It will look at how to target your application to the organisation and for the course or job you are considering. It will examine your choice of courses/or jobs and their suitability. Specific advice on presentation of the application will be given. It will help you with providing evidence for a personal statement within the application. You will be able to take away an individual advice sheet.
UCAS application advice
Cost £30.00 per hour
This is a specific service for those advanced level students applying to university. The session will involve individual related advice. This will include choice of course and suitability, choice of institution, targeting point scores/grade requirements to personal expected attainment, and personal statement advice. It will include a follow up phone call after results (if wanted) and an individual advice sheet to take away.
Planning a gap year
Cost £30.00 per hour
This is a tailored session to help you choose and plan a gap year to achieve the maximum benefit. Advice will look on the suitability of a gap year, highlight pros and cons. It will provide specific information and contacts on your agreed gap year preference. This may be working or travelling in the UK or abroad, doing voluntary work, or following a personal dream. Information specific to the gap year will be provided at the interview.
Job Search
Cost £25.00 per hour, CV £10.00 extra
This session provides you with help with applying for jobs and understanding options available in the job market. It will examine your choice of job area and its suitability. It will outline possibilities for training including Modern Apprenticeships in specific career areas. CV design and production will also be given if required.
