One to One guidance interviews
Cost £40.00 per hour
This 1 hour interview will examine in depth your position in the graduate market both locally and nationally. It will explore you skills, aptitudes, abilities, interests and personality traits. You will discuss with the adviser your past employment experience, education and your future career aims. The interview will focus on your individual needs and defining realistic future goals. Relevant information and further contact points will be given on a personalised action plan to take away.
Advice on postgraduate study
Cost £35.00 per hour
This advice session examines the pros and cons of postgraduate study for you. Options for postgraduate study will be outlined. You will have chance to discuss your chosen institution and type of postgraduate course. Outcomes of postgraduate study will form part of the advice process. Advice on possible avenues for financial support for study can be discussed if required. An action sheet will be given at the end of the advice session.
Job search for the graduate market
Cost £35.00 per hour
This advice session will focus on your strengths and weakness in relation to presenting yourself to employers at graduate entry level. Your chosen career area and how to target specific employers will be examined. Advice will be given on redefining and marketing yourself to match what employers want. Advice may be offered on approaching employers speculatively, and establishing networks to increase employment possibilities. Information can be provided on how to approach graduate selection interviews and graduate selection tests with confidence. An individual advice sheet will be given at the end of the session.
The Graduate CV
Cost £25.00 per hour
This session will provide you with a CV targeted to specific graduate entry. It will include a personal profile highlighting your proven track record and any distinctions so far that set you apart. 10 hard copies of the CV are provided. CVs can be e-mailed or burnt onto disk as required.
