One to One guidance interviews
Cost = £40.00 per hour
Following the Egan model of guidance, this 1 hour interview will look in depth at your skills, abilities, aptitudes, interests, and personality. It will diagnose career needs which will be agreed and identify patterns or challenges in present career decision making. It will focus on future ideas and specifically plan your short term and long term goals. You will take away a written action plan and relevant contacts and information.
Follow on interviews
Cost = £20.00 per hour
A defined interview designed to look at progress. This interview will tackle problems as they arise and help you overcome obstacles or give further support to already diagnosed needs. A follow action plan will be given with required information and contacts.
Job Application Advice
Cost = £25.00 per hour
Yours skills, abilities, past employment and educational experience will be analysed to help you focus on a particular application. Background research and company intelligence will be part of the focus. Your skills will be examined against competency specifications specified in the application. Further career development and training will be identified. An advice sheet reminder will be provided.
CV Design and production
Cost = £25.00 per hour
A portfolio of styles will be provided and will enable the most appropriate CV to be chosen. Analysis of your skills to make you stand out will be included. Use of CVs will be covered, and 10 hard copies produced. CVs can be e-mailed or burnt onto disk.
Interview Skills
Cost = £25.00 per hour
This is a personal information session on how you can best present at interview. An analysis of areas of need will be undertaken. Focused solutions will be given on areas of need including problems such as first impressions, verbal and non verbal communication skills, deficits in experience, overcoming nerves and marketing yourself effectively. A personalised advice sheet will be provided to take away.
Presentation skills
Cost = £35.00 per hour
Different presentation methods will be outlined. The session will look at individual needs. It will teach you how to plan a presentation and to do so with the audience in mind. Coaching will be provided for overcoming fear and past problems, making a great impression and using visual aids effectively. Useful tips such as memory joggers and keeping to the point will be outlined. An advice sheet will be provided along with helpful further reading and visual material.
Returnees Package
Cost = £ 85.00 (3 hours)
This is a combination of services for an individual wishing to return to work or study. This package is tailored to the combination of services required over three separate sessions each lasting 1 hour. This includes a diagnostic career guidance interview, confidence building, CV design and production, help filling in application forms or interview advice. A portfolio is provided for the individual at the end of all three sessions to take away.
